From the Road to the Boardroom
Logistics Oasis was founded in 2016 by James Callahan and Priya Sharma, who met while working in opposite roles: James was running a regional freight business out of Newcastle, and Priya was a chartered accountant specialising in transport sector compliance.
They noticed a pattern. Logistics businesses were either using generic accountants who didn't understand fuel levies, fleet depreciation, or subcontractor classification — or they were carrying accounting in-house with outdated spreadsheets and constant ATO anxiety.
So they built a firm that bridged the gap. A practice that combined rigorous accounting expertise with genuine industry knowledge, backed by modern technology and automation. Twelve years and 500+ clients later, that mission hasn't changed.
